Lip Blush or Lip Filler?

This is a commonly asked question. The truth is, Lip Blush and Lip Filler are two completely different services.

They both have their very own benefits and combined, can completely transform your pout!

Here is a quick rundown of the treatments.

Lip Blush

Lip Blush is a beauty service where we implant a coloured pigment into the skin by using a tattoo style device.

A lip blush treatment can be a choice for ladies or gents for many reasons, including:

  • Lip Colour to mask blue lips

  • Redefine the shape of lips

  • Re -implant colour that has gone due to scarring

  • Re -implant pigment back into the border that may have receded

  • Lightening natural dark patches on lips

These are just a few of the reasons why lip blush would be selected.

Lip Blush can last many years will a top up recommended every 1 - 2 years.

Lip Filler

Lip Filler is an aesthetic procedure where a highly skilled aesthetician will use a needle to place medical grade filler under the skin to give more volume to the lips.

Lip Filler is a good choice for people who

  • Have thin lips

  • Need more volume

  • Want to change the shape of their lips

  • Want a more youthful look and disguise wrinkles

There are many other benefits to Lip Filler.

Lip filler is a Semi Permanent treatment anywhere from 6 -18 months, it is then recommended to have them topped up.

If you have been debating treatment for your lips, I would highly recommend speaking to a permanent makeup artist and an aesthetician.

Be sure to find professionals who can show your pictures of their work, and more importantly, who invite you to come for a consultation. This is where you will meet them face to face and discuss the reasons for treatments. At this appointment you will be able to go through your medical background and colours (if needed) and then discuss how the services are carried out.

Have you had any of these treatments, both maybe?

If you have any questions regarding Lip Blush, I am able to answer them for you, just get in touch!
