These tips can also be applied to microblading as well as Permanent Make Up Clients
You already took the leap into the world of Permanent Make Up, you followed Pre Care advice and your Aftercare advice and now its all set in place looking beautiful.
There are a few things you can do as a Permanent Make Up client to keep it looking fresh and a few things to avoid to keep it from fading to quickly.
Heres a few of my Top Tips for Permanent Makeup Clients!
Tip #1 - SPF is Permanent Make Ups best friend!
Now we all know SPF is the holy grail of skin care, if there is one thing that should be applied to your face daily its SPF!
But did you know, that burning hot ball of fire in the sky can make our PMU fade more quickly? If not, you do now!
Not only can it fade our tattoos, our new brows but if you have lip blush, then you will want to get a lip balm, chapstick etc containing an SPF.
Tip #2 - Wear A Sunhat
So you have spent hundreds of pounds to get the brows of your dreams, but you refuse to wear a hat?
By wearing a hat you are directly protecting those beautiful brows from the suns glare and will 100% be helping them to last longer and stop them from fading out.

Tip #3 - Avoid Anti Ageing Cream in the Area
Some ingredients in Anti Ageing creams have been found to have a adverse effects on permanent makeup and microblading, so if you are going to use them, please do not use directly on top of your Permanent Make Up.
Tip #4 - Talk about it!
When you go to see your beauty therapist for any kind of facial or skin treatment, let them know you have permanent make up. They will be educated to know what products they can and cannot apply to the area. Laser facials will need to be avoided in the area, so give your lady a heads up that the brows etc need to be left alone!
Need an MRI? Again tell your medical professional, it wont cause any harm its just good for them to be aware of it.
Tip #5 - Unsure if a Top Up is necessary?
Schedule a consultation. Your permanent make up artist would rather you call in for a quick look or a send a quick picture rather than turn up for an appointment you don't yet need. Some people are unsure if they need a top up, a colour correction, removal etc so schedule that consultation and let the experts make the decision!
By following these tips you can ensure that you have done everything you can to look after your new Permanent Makeup Investment and will continue to reap the benefits for the maximum time!
These tips are here to help you achieve the best from your permanent makeup. If you have any questions about your permanent makeup or microblading get in touch, I'll be happy to help!
